Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle any information related to the app.
KcalSimple does not collect, store, or share any personal information. All data you enter in the app (food logs, calorie goals, weight entries, custom foods) is stored exclusively on your device and never transmitted to us or any third party. The camera is used only to scan barcodes; images are processed on your device and are never stored or transmitted.
KcalSimple uses two external services to search for food products:
Both services are free and publicly available. Neither receives any personal information from KcalSimple.
KcalSimple contains no advertisements and collects no analytics data of any kind.
KcalSimple is free to use, and every feature is available to everyone. The app includes optional one-time support tips that you can purchase if you would like to support the developer. They unlock nothing and are never required.
Tips are processed entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your payment details, and purchases are subject to Google Play’s payment and refund policies.
All data entered in the app is stored locally on your device using a standard SQLite database. We have no access to this data.
KcalSimple is appropriate for all ages and does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the updated version will be published on our website and reflected in the app.
