Welcome to KcalSimple, a calorie tracking app developed by GreenAnt Apps. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the app. By using KcalSimple, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
KcalSimple is provided for personal, non-commercial health and wellness purposes, and is intended for users aged 18 and over. You may use the app on your own device to track your daily calorie intake. The app contains no advertisements. Most data you enter is stored only on your device; optional features that use our server are described in our Privacy Policy. The app offers optional purchases (see Section 4).
KcalSimple is a tool to assist with personal calorie and body weight tracking and is not a substitute for professional medical or nutritional advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet. GreenAnt Apps is not responsible for any health outcomes resulting from use of the app.
KcalSimple can estimate calories from a photo of a meal or from a description of a physical activity, using AI (Artificial Intelligence) provided by Google’s Gemini. These features are optional and can be turned off in Settings. A limited number of AI estimates can be used for free each day; the Premium subscription (see Section 4) increases this limit.
AI estimates are produced automatically and are approximate. They may be inaccurate and are not medical or nutritional advice; always check and adjust the values before logging them. AI estimates need an internet connection and may occasionally be unavailable, paused or limited. Please submit only photos of food and descriptions of activities, and do not attempt to misuse or automate the service.
KcalSimple is free to download and use. Optional support tips are individual payments you can make whenever you like. They unlock nothing, never renew and are never required.
The optional Premium subscription increases the number of AI estimates (see Section 3) you can use each day (see below). It is billed monthly or yearly through Google Play, at the price shown in the app, and renews automatically until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time in Google Play; Premium then remains active until the end of the period already paid. Refunds are handled under Google Play’s policies, without affecting your statutory rights.
Free use includes up to 3 AI estimates per day, and Premium up to 25 AI estimates per day. The free limit may change at any time and without notice. The Premium limit may also change; the current limits are always shown in the app and in these Terms.
All content in KcalSimple, including the app design, graphics, and branding, is the property of GreenAnt Apps or its licensors. You may not modify, reproduce, or distribute any part of the app without prior written permission.

GreenAnt Apps is not responsible for the accuracy or availability of data or services provided by third parties.
To the extent permitted by law, KcalSimple is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. While we aim to provide a reliable experience, we are not responsible for any data loss, app crashes, or other issues arising from use of the app.
You are responsible for keeping your backup files safe. Importing a backup replaces the data in the backup’s date range, and “Delete all data” is permanent.
We may update these Terms occasionally. When we do, the updated version will be published on our website and reflected in the app.
